Dr. Austin Service is a fellowship-trained urologist specializing in men’s health, sexual medicine, and male infertility. He is originally from California, but was raised near the mountains of Salt Lake City, Utah. He enjoys hiking, camping, snowboarding, and paddleboarding. He lives in the Indianapolis area with his wife and their four children. He looks forward to caring for the men of Indiana for many years to come.

About Dr. Service

Dr. Service is a well-respected expert in the field of male sexual and reproductive medicine. He is known for his compassionate care, meticulous surgical technique, and commitment to restoring confidence and function for men at every stage of life. His practice focuses on conditions such as erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease (penile curvature), low testosterone, and male infertility. He provides comprehensive medical and surgical care, including penile implant surgery, penile plication, microsurgical vasectomy reversal, varicocelectomy, and testicular sperm extraction. His guiding principle is simple: put the patient first and pursue excellence in every detail.
During his fellowship at the University of Utah, Dr. Service received advanced training in microsurgery and penile prosthetics, performing hundreds of complex procedures. Today, he combines that technical expertise with a personal approach, helping men understand their options and achieve lasting results.

Academic and Professional Contributions

Dr. Service is an active contributor to the medical literature. He is a peer-reviewed author with publications ranging from microsurgical techniques, advances in male contraception, the effects of metabolic health on fertility, and barriers to erectile dysfunction care. He has presented his research at regional and national meetings, and continues to advance the field through scholarship and education.

Education

Dr. Service graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Utah, where he received his B.S. degree in Chemistry with a Biochemical emphasis, minor in Spanish, and Honors Certificate. He earned his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine, where he was elected as co-president of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. After medical school, he moved to San Diego, California, where he completed an internship and residency in Urologic Surgery at the University of California, San Diego. He then elected to pursue advanced training with a fellowship in Male Fertility, Microsurgery, and Sexual Medicine, which he completed at the University of Utah.
