Kris Jensen, PA

Physician’s Assistant at Urology of Indiana


Kris was born in Highland Park, Illinois, and joined the US Army in 1982.  He served as a Special Forces Operator and team medic for 10 years.  He is a graduate of the Special Forces Medical School at both Ft. Sam Houston, Texas, and Ft. Bragg, North Carolina.

After leaving the service, he graduated from Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina, with a Bachelors degree in biology.  He then attended Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University, North Carolina, and received his Physician Assistant degree in 1996.

After graduation, he moved to Wilmington, North Carolina, where he began practicing in Urology.  He later moved in 2000, and had practiced Urology in Decatur, Illinois, until May, 2020.

Kris is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is licensed in the states of Indiana, Illinois, and Tennessee.

Kris joined Urology of Indiana in June of 2020, and will focus on the Men’s Health and Prevention Program.  Kris’ other interests include outdoor activities, adventure sports, spending time with his wife of over twenty years, Cheryl; travel, and scuba diving.
